Livia Lanfranchi - traverso & classical flute Born in Rome, she received her diploma in modern Flute at the Santa Cecilia Conservatory, Rome in the class of Angelo Persichilli. In 1991, she started her specialization in Traverso and Early Music at the Schola Cantorum in Basel, Switzerland. From 1992 to 1995 she continued her studies at the “Hochschule für Musik” in Trossingen, Germany in the class of Linde Brunmayr. From 1995 to 2001 she studied with Barthold Kuijken at the “Koninklijk Conservatorium” in The Hague. She received her Master-Degree in 2001 in Traverso and Classical Flute with maximum graduation and distinction. She performs regularly with several European baroque ensembles such as “Concerto D’ Amsterdam”, “Collegium Ad Mosam” and “Den Haag Baroque Orchestra” among others. As a chamber musician she performes with “Il Ritratto dell’ Amore”, “Os Musicos de Capella” and other ensembles throughout Europe and Brazil. She recorded CD’s with works of J. S. Bach (Passion’s and Cantatas), C. Ph. E. Bach (Magnificat) and with the Mozart Akademie Amsterdam the complete Mozart Symphonies. She also recorded several Cd’s and DVD’s with the Baroque Orchestra of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. Since 2001 she teaches traverso at the International Early Music Festival in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. She’s at the moment traverso teacher at the “Universidade Livre de Musica” in São Paulo, Brazil. |

Alessandro Santoro - harpsichord & fortepiano Born in Brazil, Alessandro Santoro took a Master's degree in piano at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in the class of Elena Richter. He recorded Claudio Santoro's First Piano Concerto with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Samara. He continued his education by studying the harpsichord with Jacques Ogg at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague, where he obtained a further Master's degree. He performs in Europe and Brazil as a member of ensembles such as La Petite Bande, The Orchestra of the 18th Century, La Sfera Armoniosa and Den Haag Baroque Orchestra. In 2000 he conducted The Symphony Orchestra of Brasilia in a program featuring the complete Brandenburg Concertos. He recorded J. S. Bach’s Matthew–Passion and C. Ph. E. Bach’s Magnificat with the Den Haag Baroque Orchestra, and 9 cd’s and a DVD with the Baroque Orchestra of Juiz de Fora, Brazil. His CD recording (label Ramee) with Luis Otavio Santos, violin and Ricardo Rodriguez Miranda, viola da gamba with Leclair’s Violin Sonatas was awarded with the Diapason D'Or in 2005. He is a member of the teaching staff of the International Summer Course in Brasilia and of the Festival Internacional de Musica Colonial Brasileira e Musica Antiga de Juiz de Fora. From 2001 to 2006 he was Guest Teacher for Basso Continuo and Ensemble Couching at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague. At the moment Harpsichord and basso continuo teacher at the "Universidade Livre de Musica"in São Paulo, Brazil (very short) Alessandro Santoro - harpsichord & fortepiano Natural of Rio de Janeiro, he took a Master’s degree in piano at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory in Moscow in the class of Elena Richter. After obtaining a further Master’s degree in Jacques Ogg class at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague he was for five years Guest Teacher at this institute for Harpsichord, Basso Continuo and Ensemble Couching. In 2000 he conducted The Symphony Orchestra of Brasilia in a program featuring the complete Brandenburg Concertos. He performs as a member of ensembles such as “The 18th Century Orchestra”, “Den Haag Baroque Orchestra” and “Os Musicos de Capella”. His CD recording with Luis Otavio Santos and Ricardo Rodriguez Miranda with Leclair’s Violin Sonatas was awarded with the Diapason D’ Or in 2005. He’s a member of the teaching staff of the International Summer Course in Brasilia and of the International Early Music Festival in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. With the Baroque Orchestra of Juiz de Fora, Brazil he recorded nine CD’s and one DVD. He’s responsible for the website, editing and publishing of the music of the Brazilian composer Claudio Santoro.
